The braun toothbrush heads are similar to the flexisoft brand of products because of their effectiveness in getting to all areas around the tooth. This is a relatively new product on the market and uses the latest technology developed by years of trial and error. When you buy a set with all the bits and pieces make sure that you get one with about 5 replacement heads. Otherwise you will need to buy them separate at a later date which will cost a lot more because the shops exploit the fact that you can only get the heads from them due to compatibility issues. Braun toothbrush heads will only work with oral b and some Colgate designs but will not be combatable with other lesser known brands. In the past I have been able to get them for free and i am sure you can too if you hassle hard enough with the shop keeper, because the price of the electric toothbrush is high enough as it is.
